This backyard design was created for some close friends who wanted a fresh take on their backyard. To provide them ample space for entertaining, I added a sectional for comfortable lounging, an outdoor dining table for meals on warm summer evenings, and added a planter with drought tolerant plants for a nice visual feature. Adjacent to the sectional, I placed a wood slat wall to help with the afternoon sun as it sets to allow the family to enjoy the space without being blinded by the sun.
