My name is Jennifer Lopez and I am an Interior Designer.

I am a cat mom of three and a fiancé to my best friend, Ezekiel, of 9+ years. Ezekiel and I love to travel into nature and find ourselves creating every excuse to bring our cats along with us. Our cats, Iris, Sammi, Ghibli, love the outdoors, are harness trained, and will do just about anything to be able to roll in the dirt. Needless to say, they keep us on our toes!

Growing up I was always creative and found myself sitting at my desk for hours creating anything and everything. My creativity started with drawing, creating models, painting, crafting, handmade gifts for loved ones, and finally,  led me to Interior Design.

Once I discovered my love for creating, I did everything I could to put myself in a creative environment. In junior high I found the performing arts and joined the color guard team, which then led me on an 8-year performance streak with my junior high, high school, and independent teams. This phase of my life taught me how to work with teammates and how to provide support where needed in order for the overall success of the team. On top of my 8 years of performing, I also taught color guard for 6 years, which has taught me valuable lessons on how to communicate with different types of people and how to properly manage multiple tasks and people at a time.

Moving on from the color guard world, I became a banquet server, a server at a high-end restaurant, a residential design intern, an interior designer for an online design/retail company, and finally a designer at an architectural+design company. All these jobs have taught me valuable lessons that I utilize every day and hope to continue to grow on.

My future goal is to learn all that I possibly can about design and how to use my creative talent to improve the lives of others. While on this journey to better myself as a designer, I want to give back as much as I can to the education that got me here. I hope to use my growing knowledge and teaching skills to one day become a design instructor and help pass on my love for design to young blossoming designers.
